Cough & Breathing Problems: See A Doctor First
A lasting cough or breathing difficulty needs a diagnosis, and no supplement should replace medical care.
Never stop or replace prescribed treatment for a supplement.
Why a check-up matters
A cough that lasts more than a few weeks, wheezing, shortness of breath or chest pain can come from asthma, infection, reflux, heart problems, medication side effects and other causes. Some are easy to treat, and some get worse if ignored.
What a supplement can and cannot do
The source itself says Lung Trust does not treat asthma, COPD, bronchitis or pneumonia, and nothing we found shows it treats or relieves anything. Traditional use of mullein is not proof.
Never replace an inhaler
If a doctor prescribed an inhaler or any medication, keep using it as directed. Tell your doctor about everything you take. If you smoke, stopping is the most useful step, and a doctor can help.
When to seek care quickly
Severe difficulty breathing, blue lips, chest pain, coughing blood or sudden swelling need urgent medical attention.
